Bio:

Nina Mettler currently works as the Design Manager at the Seattle Art Museum. Prior to working at SAM Nina spent five years as Senior Designer at Worldstudio, a strategy and communications firm in NYC that builds bridges between clients and communities to enable positive social change. Nina created numerous identities, campaigns, publications, websites, and environmental graphics for civic organizations, nonprofits, and small businesses. While at Worldstudio Nina helped brand and grow the Design Ignites Change program which supports design and architecture students who want to make a difference. During her time in New York, Nina was an active volunteer for AIGA as well as an AIGA/NY mentor.

Upon returning home to Seattle in 2012 Nina joined the AIGA Seattle board as Programming Director and from 2014-2016 helped grow the chapter's Design for Good initiatives and Changemaker Series as Responsibility Co-Director.


Recognition:

Nina’s work has received awards from AIGA case/affect, Print Magazine and Blackbook AR 100 and has been featured in Just Design: Socially Conscious Design for Critical Causes and Common Interest: Documents.
